The global icon netted what turned out to be the winner in Al-Nassr's 2-1 win over Al-Rayyan in the AFC Champions League on Monday night. After scoring, he pointed to the sky in celebration in a touching tribute to his late father.

Speaking after the match, Ronaldo said: "Today's goal has a different flavor… I wish my father was alive because today is his birthday."

While Ronaldo's goal had an emotional feel to it, it did not stop the 39-year-old from celebrating his seventh strike in eight matches across all competitions. Even at his age, Ronaldo is still thriving and providing for his team as they look to compete across all fronts in Saudi Arabia.
